6. Filling the Grid |
| |
To fill the grid we will first set up a little "help grid". Duplicate the grid layer (right click -> Duplicate Layer ), delete it's mask (right click -> Delete Layer Mask). |
| |
| |
| |
Invert the colors Image -> Adjustments -> Invert. This way you will get a black grid which will be used for filling and will be later deleted. |
| |
| |
| |
Filling the grid is now a matter of personal preferences. Select the Paint Bucket Tooland set the opacity to 20%. That way you will be able to control the opacity of the squares easily by the number of clicks you make in one square. |
| |
| |
| |
Fill the squares with white and yellow colors to your liking. |
| |
| |
| |
Now select the Magic Wand Tool (0% tolerance, contiguous), click on the black grid and press the Delete Key. Voila. |
